One of my large females laid 17 egss (3 duds) Monday morning, very cool. She was doing something I have never seen. She was eating one of her eggs, weird. I'm glad I checked her when I did. She is a very large female, eats 2 rat hoppers ever week. She was well fed up to laying.
Has anyone ever seen or had this happen?

Not uncommon. I have heard of the males eating eggs as well, when left with the female. Was she eating a good egg or dud?
