my cousins brought me an interesting gift for my graduation, the gift is a young eastern box turtle. i lost my first pair to hibernation trouble. but he has clear eyes, a hard shell and no discharge at all. he is small so most likely young and has not eaten yet but i'm not exactly worried because we got him today. when picked up he kicks around, and he is active and alert. he'll probly eat when we get some nice juicy night crawlers for him. his name is elvis because that's what my cousins named him. i'm not going to try and hibernate him.
i just introduced my russian female tort to my russian male and mating behavior started immetiatleyand and i am hoping for eggs and at this rate i probably will.
