African Rock Python

Hey, Just woundering how fast my rock is going to grow, he eats all the time and seems to love attacking and constricting. he will eat anything, he is like 3.4-4 feet and he has eatin guiny pigs all the way down to rat pups, hes huge and he attackes lil white mice, hes something else. anyway, could someone let me know how fast hes going to get up there. thanks

For a more exact answer I would post this question on the burm forum.

With enough food and space your snake could get pretty big pretty fast. You didn't mention if it was a male or female. Females usually get much larger.

Genetics plays some role, but expect it to reach nearly adult size within 2 maybe 3 years.

I have both a male and female and both are around 6 years old. They have been fed well, although not power fed and the male is 12 feet long and the female is about 14 feet long. At this size they are eating 8 to 10 lb rabbits at 16 day intervals. Hope this helps.
