What can they really eat?

I ju7st bought a hatchling CWD. The man at the pet store said it usually would only eat worms and crickets, but I'm seeing in these posts that they'll eat almost anything?? Well that makes me wonder if there is anything he absolutely shouldn't eat?? This may be a repeated post sorry, but I couldn't find my last post??

Most will only eat live food, mine like feeder fish, earthworms, waxworms, mealworms, silkworms, butterworms and mice. As babies they mostly ate crickets and feeder fish, with some silkworms or waxworms as treats.
