HA HA HA! Finally dude!
As you might recall I just started using nest boxes last year because of all the posts on them I used to use them before and gave up . Last year and this year i would say 90% of my snakes laid outside the nest box and the other 10% i did not give a choice because I filled up there whole cage with peat moss. So thats pretty much 100% that nver lay in nest boxes for me.
Maybe it is the weather here in GA . I don't know. The humidity may have something to do with it but one thing for sure i am going back to no nest box and letting my snakes lay in wet shavings.
Heck i even put boards in( FR style) and the stupid snakes lay under it until they are ready to lay and then they crawl on top to dump their eggs.

"Yeah ya told me, and ya wrote it down too. But how the hell am I supposed to remember!"

remember the one consistent message from FR- do not copy, do not just do. don't do as FR does. listen to YOUR snakes!
and as it shows you have listened and given them what they wanted. congratulations!

First up congrats on the eggs Tom,nice lookin female for sure.
Was there a lid on that nest box? I always use a lid with a hole cut in and never had one lay out of the box.Saying this i never tryed soil/peat before,i use vermiculite/perlite mix to try and retain moisture/humidity.
Even so those eggs look real nice and F looks in good shape after laying a nice clutch for you my friend.Hope you hatch some stunnas.
RGDS.............AL
Thanks Al, I used to use lids all the time but honestly most of mine are doing fine with just a box of soil in the cage. If one seems nervous I cover the cage with something so it has privacy.
She is Envy stock, triple het and was bred by my Ghost, should be a bit of everything in the clutch.
Comin across the pond for DAYTONA? Come on down, I just booked my room and look forward to seeing old friends and hopefully some new ones too

That is a really nice looking female. As long as the eggs are good and they don't end up in a water dish, who cares....
Good luck hatching those beauties.
