Yay !! They finally ate Frozen Thawed.

AshLopez May 30, 2007 09:15 PM

Well my two holdbacks that I hatched out from Ruby Finally ate Frozen Thawed Rat Pup,Last night !!!!

It was a pain going to Petco every two weeks for a live mouse.

Here's the girl. She was born Red and changed to a Deep Orange color.

She went backwards.

I'm hoping she will eventually turn back to red as she gets older.

Her head is also turning grey.Kool.

It's gonna be fun watching her change.

I've always wondered how the ones born red turn into Ox Blood Red adults.

First pic is her as newly hatched. The last two are current.

one may ask why a congrats is in order, well, I feel your pain. I currently have 53 snakes. Most eat f/t. But I have a few holdouts. One albino ball python, used to eat f/t, then one day changed his mind, from f/t mice or rats to only live mice, they have to be small to, I would have thought perhaps he got bit by a rodent or something, but since I have had him since he hatched and used to eat f/t it's just not possible, still scratching my head, so I currently gave up and feed him what ever the hell he wants, lol. The other two are neonate JCP's , both want live and only mice. One ate f/t like 3 times and then abruptly stopped. I am sure in time, all will bend to my "demands" , in the mean time, I know what a "pain" in the butt buying live can be. But ya gatta do, what ya gatta do. I am supposed to be in "charge" around here darn it!!!

LOL, Notttttttttttttttttttttt!!
