I'm here.
The problem with God discussions - It's quite clear that my position is the correct one, but people of other views can just be so darned stubborn - they think they are correct and just don't accept that they are wrong and I am right no matter what - so the discussions never really bear much fruit, and thus should be cut from the vine.

I don't think I've been here long enough to be a 'regular.' And I missed the God thread. But if nobody else is talking, I'll mention something that has nothing to do with anything else.

I'm really enjoying my Florida king. I think it's funny how she's not around during the day or evening, and so I tend to think she's just not 'engaged' at all, just in her own little 30 breeder world. But when the TV turns off in the living room and the lights go out, if I go back in there just a minute later to let the dogs out or something, she's out and about! If we see eachother we both get startled a bit and freeze as I walk by. I get a little surprised by her size. She's grown a lot this last month and I've caught myself more than once seeing her tail and looking in the wrong place for her head, misjudging her size by 4 or 5 inches! I think she's about 22" or even 24" right now. Other observations: Very difficult to catch her drinking water, the few times I have it's been very soon after a meal, mice must be salty. But it's a cool thing, watching her drink water. Also she is getting big enough I am thinking of trying to take some outdoor pictures. I was nervous when she was really small that she'd dart away and I'd lose her.

Also, she believes in God, but isn't all In Your Face about it.

Hey Eddie,

I knew that Florida of yours would start growing like a weed!
It'll get more comfortable around you as it grows, and hand out by the water. As I shared in a thread below (not the God thread), mine is as gentle as a lamb most of the time, but every once in a while he tells me, "Not today, I'd rather be left alone!"

Ray.

Oh, I am here. The discussion was interesting to say the least. It was good to see everyone's thoughts, opinions, and input, regardless of the outcome.

Still here enjoying one aspect of the proof of God's existence, that is, my snake collection and enjoying everyone's pics on this forum.

Not a king, but locality northern pine!! My all time fave!

Yes it was interesting to see people stood on three popular schools of thought, evolutionists, creationists and theistic evolutionists.
