He is very helpfull and wants to get to the bottom of this as much as we do.
This is what I know...
The session is done, HB 12 has no committee to go back to.
That leaves us with 2 options.. and I only discussed #2 with Patrick.
1) Try to get help in the Governors office.
2) Fix this in the next session (Jan 2009)
Patrick is going to look into this for us to try to find out who did the rider on 2414, if anybody else wants to contact him on 1309, I am sure that he would be happy to do that as well. My cell battery died and I try not to make long distance phone calls from my work phone...
I will follow up with him tomorrow to see what he was able to find out and will put the facts up here as I know them.
It was suggest that we call the office of hilderbran and ask them point blank if they attached the riders. I am sure that this will lead to some fun conversations, but we should ALL CALL hILDERBRAN'S OFFICE to ask about these riders. I am about 90% certian they are his, and when we verify this... We need to make sure this dirty laundry is aired for everybody to see.
Remember we need to verify for sure before we blow any whistles..
