Dwayne,

This is Wayne Howell again. I am sure you may be aware that both of these House bills (HB 2414 & HB 1309) have been added to HB 12 as riders and have passed in Congress. They will now be going to Governor Perry's desk to be signed. I am asking you to do whatever you can within your power to stop this from happening. It is never too late especially to voice an opinion or concerns.

I was very disappointed to see that you voted YEA on both of these bills, when you told me that you would do anything you could to help. You had already voted YEA on these bills however before your response to me. Now I am asking you to try and get this stopped. What is happening here is the purest form of corrupt politics I have ever seen. We as a group, will get to the bottom of this. I am sure a large amount of money is being transfrerred "under the table" on this one! There is someone who wants these bills passed VERY VERY BADLY!!!!

If there is any time I sincerely need you help, it is NOW. I see also that Parks & Wildlife will now be able to log timber at will, with this HB 12 bill. How convenient this is for Parks and Wildlife. This is the biggest abuse of power that I have seen in a long time. This is an example of why politicians get a bad rap and are not to be trusted. I will have to tell you, I am more than "beside myself" on this issue! I am asking you to help me as well as my colleagues that enjoy this activity as a hobby, to shut this down and/or get these riders taken off of this HB 12 bill. Please respond to me ASAP. Also, please feel free to call me. (713)817-0113.

Sincerely,

Wayne Howell

PS, Please talk to Governor Perry on this and try to help!
