question about feeding locus

gary1 Aug 16, 2003 05:56 AM

ive just started feeding my beardie locus. he seems to love them, not sure wether its cos they taste nice or if its just cos he's never had them before.

i was wondering how often u can give him these tho, i couldnt find much info on wether these should be thought of as 'treat' items. if they werent to fatty i thought i could give him these instead of crickets some days just to vary his diet a bit.

Hi,
I feed my Beardies crickets and locust, as I have a few Beardies, some like crickets, some like locust and some like both.
Locust are not fattening but I dont think they are as nutritious as crickets. I'd say give them both if you want to.
I tend to vary as well between black crickets and brown crickets as they get bored of the same variety all the time.
Dont forget to dust with vitamins and try them on some veggies too.
