Especially of one of the flowers?
It looks like chicory but I'm not sure...
Have you tried breaking off a flower? The stem should be nearly impossible to break off...very stringy. You pretty much have to cut it to get a flower off.
Does this look like it?

If thats the stuff, its edible.
don't think it is chicory which is edible but bitter -
look up torenia or angelonia
I looked up both of these and it is neither. it is a perenial it lives through the northeast winter
no it's not that it has a lot more leaves and smaller different flowers
where are you located? it would help in dismissing some possibilities
here are a few more/ better pics of my unidentified weed
I live in the northeast if it helps
thanks for the help

Looks like the mint family. Creeping Charlie maybe?
Let me check my books...
Its looking alot like creeping charlie (aka ground ivy) to me...

that is definatly it. do you know if it is edible for torts? I thought it looked like an Ivy to and I thought Ivys were bad (English Ivy) I think they might have had a couple bites of it in my yard will no ill effect but for years I have been trying to keep it away from them.
thanks for your research.
I remember reading somewhere long ago that creeping charlie is toxic. But I can't seem to find that link. It does in fact secrete a toxic oil that is toxic to horses in large quantities.
So is it toxic to reptiles? I really couldn't say for sure, but I wouldn't chance it. Just keep tearing it up when you see it...
