Not much of an aggressive feeder.

So, my adult male and female ball have been on their winter fasting spree for near 4 or 5 months now, and last night I tried to feed them yet again. My male nailed his rat like he used to (both are fed F/T) and my female looked at it, interested as ever, and it took her about 2 minutes of dangling it in front of her when she tucked back into her hide box, and came flying out (not as a strike) and just rapidly wrapped around the prey and just slowly but firmly began to put on the pressure.

Does anyone really know why she chose to do that, or what it is?

Thanks,

Brandon

I have been feeding F/T for a long time and I think they know that the pray is dead and some times they just don’t feel like putting on the hole show .LOL. And some times they do . No really I have Balls that will nail it most of the time and some times just rap it up and other times just slowly open there mouth and take it and start swallowing it . They will hit hard and fast often enough to keep there séances sharp and there muscles like coiled springs . So I wouldn’t wary about it . David of DS Reptile Rescue
