Dealing with the rain

mike z May 31, 2007 08:48 PM

I've never been to Tx but I have lurked here on and off for years, especially during the alterna hunting season. This year I've noticed you guys have had a lot of rain which seems to make things difficult. That is why I thought of this forum when I recently encountered this gem. This is a tip that was passed along many years ago from one of the original locals;

"If it has been raining too much and you want it to stop, the best thing is to draw a circle with charcoal around your backside, then show your anus to the clouds. That should stop it right there." [Apaches A History And Culture Portrait James L. Haley pg 73]

I was thinking someone might want to head over to the State House and see if it works on legislation as well.;]

I'd give 'r' a whirl but cannot do the jail time it would ensure! Now THAT'S funny!
