First eggs ever..

Congrats...

I know you've been around here long enough to pick up all the tricks, but don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. The #1 most important piece of advice I can give you is to leave them alone. The more you look at them, open the egg box, mess with them, etc...the worse they'll do. Its so hard to leave them alone, but you can do it.

It may not cause a problem, but I would put them in bigger boxes so the eggs don't touch the sides. I am thinking you will probably get some condensation on the sides of your boxes and with the eggs touching the sides they may get dripped on. You might be fine but if it were me I would change it.

I was unable to see her pictures. Photobucket is blocked here at work. I do not like for my eggs to touch the sides or lids of the egg box for the very reasons you mention.

...definitely get them off of the sides of the boxs(,and do not let them touch the inside of the lids either.)...and congratulations!...Two first clutches is fantastic!..GL!
