"Baby" Black Tree

vegasbilly Jun 01, 2007 03:52 PM

I just picked up a really young Beccari. It still has its juvie pattern on its back. Unbelieveable! I've acclimated imported adults in the past but this little gem is so calm compared to the nervous and agitated state most adults arrive in.

It is in its new abode w/the front covered and will remain so for a few weeks so as to minimize intrusion related stress. I do this w/all new animals. My philosophy is to admire from afar and keep the interaction to a minimum. I'll snap a few pics when an opportune time permits.
