Very nice, any adult photos? Going to be able to try for a super next year?

Congrats on these, the YB crosses, and the harley pastels..nice work!

coldthumb Jun 02, 2007 05:39 PM

Yeah, next year should be a go,on an attempt at a super.
Ive got three males growing from 2006(one screamer),or maybe one of the painted-yb males will do it....time will tell.

Thank you for the nice comments!

BIG CONGRADTS!!! They are both gorgeous. I have a female that looks identical to your "paintball" morph that was bred to my YB as well but she did not take.

Here are a couple of pics of her back in `05 (I really need to take some new pics of her). I was very fortunate to get her from the breeder.

She's nice. Her sides mostly...is she poss het or het anything?

Those sunbursts would be a good idea!(I was really hoping to get some pastel crosses with her in the same clutch, but the het-ivory won.)

I don't really know what she is. The breeder that I purchased her from just bred a granite with a very nice blushing looking female and this female popped out. The entire clutch was nice but this girl was by far the cream of the crop. She resembles her mother alot so heres to hoping it is genetic.

he has proven it out as dom/possible co-dom? Also looks kind of similar to a cinny. I hope we don't end up with a black snake complex like we have a white snake complex! Beautiful snakes man, I love what the painted trait does to the yellow bellies sides.

I eat human infants. They, like everything else, taste like chicken. What?

coldthumb Jun 02, 2007 05:34 PM

Thanks John..Exactly.They have proven themselves dominant twice now.(With the second time around being crossed into het-ivory.)I should know if there is a super next season(mom is a giant!)

Charles, those are some hot little ones, can't wait to see post-shed pics. What the the traits of a normal painted one? I can see the YB influence in those but am wondering what traits are separate from that and define the paint variation?
