Hey Gang, the second of my stripers from Jesse shed last night.

For Bob, that's pronounced stripe-ers, not strip-ers

that is the best way to get in on a "long shot" , once proven genetic, the price ALWAYS changes, as you already know, quite favorably actually!!

Or is that pompous of me?
Anyway I will be finding out next year if the mother produces the same stripes in her next litter. I dont know if I want to try pairing her with my other male, since it seems that the mother is contributing to the stripes and not my male Noah, although there are some connected dots on his offspring from last year, there was nothing like the ones from this year.
I am still very sad that the lost stripey will probably not be alive at this point.
Next year, price hike for the stripes!
Books for college classes are more expensive than ever!

Just for reference, here is the lost stripey. I am going to hate the day when my parents move again and we find it curled up somewhere.

He's gonna be some major snake man-candy when he gets bigger, will be a year on the 18th. Fortunately I can now remember the approximate date of Fathers day since thats when they were born.
I am going to get a female that will hopefully match the colors from Dave. But I still think he's the best hi-contrast I have seen on here.
First pic is his birthday pic.
Then theres two of him and his sisters, left to right its Riley (her new owner is picking up the male with the hole in his head), then Isis (looks like her mama, damn sexy) and Zeekster.
Riley has a bit of the connected dots on her back and is a Lavendar color, she should be really pretty when she gets older.
Its amazing how different they all are!

addition next month or is Brian having a late litter do you know? I am so excited to see this one, I like Genevieve but she is worthless (not really but you know what I mean) without maybe Gomez and Thing to tag along too Hey Dave the next time you feed one of your keepers from last year like Don can you weigh him so I can have a ball park figure weight wise where my hypo should be. I think I am gonna ask Mike too about that glowing holdback also but figure you have sooooo much time on your hands lol but I would greatly appreciate it.
Bob

rainbowsrus Jun 01, 2007 11:08 PM

Brian is getting anxious, should be any day now ...pace .....pace .....pace

Hey Bob, last time I checked I don't have a Don???

Just taken weights on last years babies. Not including the genesis project.

Name - weight - birth month

Tawney 305 grams (June)
Dusty 289 grams (June)
Rhett 143 grams (June)
Scarlett 254 grams (June)
Vivian 239 grams (June)
Lon 168 grams (November)
Lily 159 grams (November)

Hope that helps but remember, Mike has had a history of regurges. I know he goes very slow on food size, kind of like some of the boa folks intentionally going very slow on raising their babies. In Mikes case, probably a very good idea to go somewhat slow, better to completely avoid the regurge than to work on recovering from it.

I'm assuming that they are fairly recent cuz you seem like a man always on top of things but Tawney is in the lead and how is Rhett doing, a finicky eater? His crescent color might be bright later on it looks like from his color but you don't have any recent pics I don't believe cuz there is only one of him which I'm assuming was in the beginning (my momma told be not to assume) but how is he doing if you don't mind me asking and I think Scarlett is the orange one huh? She looks real good to me but thanks for the quick response but my hypo will have no regurges I'm pretty sure. I feed her weekly but if she poops or is out wondering around then I will feed her, but all in all doesn't leave that warm hidebox when she is digesting and stays under her half log right after a meal so she start digesting before going back and making 4 loops in her coconut but she is very fidgety and won't every stay still in my hands but only more handling will be needed I guess since she is about to turn 8 months but has a very verocious appetite. Sorry for typing so much yet again but I just start babbling and can't quit sometimes until next time take care Dave
Bob

rainbowsrus Jun 02, 2007 12:10 AM

Lon and Lily both came out of one of my 2006 litters, Boo x Porky. I did put them back together but Boo might not have taken, her litter was late (mid Nov) and she didn't have a lot of time to recoup. If she did take way cool, if not, I'll try that pairing again next year. There were several with the new "Blush" phase. I kept the best two to see what will happen when bred together. As always, when something cool pops up, gotta see if it's genetic and I can produce more or better!!!

Yeha, Rhett does not eat every meal. Doing fine just not the typical BRB pig. LOnly have the one pic cause he just seems to always be in shed during pic sessions.

Scarlett Rhett and Vivian all came from Will bird and are descended from Lamars Leticia Columbia locality BRB's. They have this cool purple in their color that my others don't have. And they have kller crescents to boot!!

Sounds like your hypo is a good eater!! Congrats!!
