....and Tony should weigh in here.

These snakes don't breed out a a lot of patternless females and it is likely due to intergradation by the blotched forms.

The "meansi" camp could be right here as being the only valid ssp. but it would surely make sense if all of the goini out there are mixed w blotched and patternless.

I've seen plenty of patternless females. In my experience they aren't that uncommon.

From what I understand striping and patternlessness are both sex linked. I never produced one though I produced a lot of perfect males. Others however have. Mark has one that rocks!

When I sold everything off I had the most regret selling this pair of patternless Goini. And I had a few really nice snakes. I hope they do well for you, and I only hope I could get another pair (from you!) like them someday. I was so busy with my work I knew with breeding and all that I would not be able to care for them the way I would want to. Tough decision to decide they would be better off with someone else.
I bred two that were very close to patternless, I would call them mostly very faded blotched though, and I didn’t get a single patternless from them. I got very discouraged and sold them too. I spent awhile trying to find a better pair to try and refine that trait, which was my intention to build a patternless ghost, whiteside, etc. I love the patternless clean look. I think that is going to make a lot of morphs really take off in the future. Wait until you see what’s coming this season from a couple of regulars here!
I still have the care sheets from when I got them if you ever want them, just for curiosity sake, you can see I fed them like pigs. Maybe not as much as Nokturnal Tom would...

Here’s a copy of the picture from the classifieds when I bought them (I don’t take pictures that good)

Picture of the male

Picture of the female

Close up of their heads- just about the only way to tell them apart. Slight differences in head marking...

So please post some recent pics! I miss those guys!

...female (I had mis-identified before as a male..)

was bred to this guy...

and just laid a clutch of eggs this week.
