I recently got a leopard gecko and things have been going well. Today though I realized we were out of his/her (not sure of the gecko's sex yet) food and all the pet stores were closed. I read online that sometimes leos will eat fruits like apricots, peaches, etc. So I bought an apricot and cut about 1/2 of it into tiny pieces and sprinkled calcium on it. Should this be okay for tonight? I'm going to buy his worms first thing tomorrow. I doubt he'll even touch the fruit but every night when it's dark out he/she comes out and stands next to his/her food bowl so I couldn't leave it empty

He/she will not die of starvation for skipping one meal. And leos are strictly insectivores animals.
IMO.

Thank you both for the help. As expected, Angus did not like the pieces of apricot! I think he/she ate about one piece. I just gave Angus some worms because he/she was standing next to the food bowl again
