Ryan Travis (member of the ECC Inner Circle) flipped his first North Carolina Eastern Kingsnake today - and it was his first day of looking! Phil Patton rode down there to look with him. I just spoke with Phil and this was the only snake they saw all morning. Not bad for an Ohio boy...

They are about to get some serious rain down there --- Ryan you need to find at least one female to pair her with!

Pasquatank, North Carolina Eastern Kingsnake (male)

Yes...

It is much better to be on the inside of the Inner Circle looking out than it is to be on the outside of the Inner Circle looking in.

Sorry!

Where did you get that gummy snake?

HEY I AM STANDING RIGHT HERE AND CAN HEAR YOU! .

Actually I wish there was such a thing as a gummy snake. Right now my hybrids only consist of less than 5% of my collection. They sell quick and sure as heck pay for all my mice and overhead. You should try them. They are fun to have around (never know what comes out of the egg) and are the fastest sellers and highest producers. Can't beat it.

Great looking Eastern- wow- wide banded pure white. I used to live up in Morganton/Glen Alpine (Burke Co.) area and they were narrow banded and yellow. And I thought that would be inner pentagram???

ECC Jun 02, 2007 05:41 PM

Upscale - I just saw your other comment below. Save your breath man. They will never be convinced. Just be glad they don't have as much power as the Taliban did in Afghanistan: you and I would be nailed to a post for heresy right now and they would comment that they did it to help us.

How dare you make a claim that the world is more than 6,000 years old. I know there is scientific proof but the Bible says that it is only 6,000 years old so the scientists must be working together to fool us!!!

How many of the 6000 year thing folks have ever been told that the entire theory is not in the Bible, it comes from Anglican Bishop James Ussher (1581-1656), who calculated that number by using the genenology from the Old Testament and figuring back to Adam and Eve supposed that many generations would put the beginning of Genesis at 4004 BC. Total made up story by a man that is now taken as religion. In fact, he basically stole the whole theory from Dr. John Lightfoot who came up with it a decade before. Somehow Ussher got all the credit. This made up theory was included in the margins of the King James version of the Bible, and the flat Earth crowd has repeated it ever since.
It’s so much more fun to read about the Bible, than actually read it. Lord help us, eh?

Peter- Nobody here said the earth was 6000 years old. So why do you keep bringing it up ?

If it weren't for the few pattern anomolies I'd give that one a ten. The southern end of Pasquatank has some nice kings for sure. I've seen some road kills that broake my heart!

ECC Jun 06, 2007 05:30 AM

I give it a ten out of ten even with the non-perfect pattern. Who wants perfect pattern with no variation? How boring. Why not just buy a plastic one in that case?

- Peter

Tony D Jun 06, 2007 09:40 PM

10 out of 10 in my book means perfect, no room for improvement but I'd give it a 10 out of 11 too.

ECC Jun 07, 2007 11:53 AM

Tony,

I think that I should have been MORE direct in my last post. I think you made the comment about it not being perfect just so you could tell THE WORLD that you have found better and prettier snakes than the one that Ryan found.

How childish.

Tony D Jun 07, 2007 07:33 PM

Hilson is that you?

ECC Jun 07, 2007 08:38 PM

No - but he and I are pretty tight.

I am proud to call Keith Hillson a close friend.
