I found out this morning that a woman in town had gotten bit by a copperhead while working in her garden this week. When I called and volunteered to look for more they gladly accepted. I wasn't there too long before I found this gorgeous little copperhead in one of their flower beds. I've done a lot of field herping since I moved here and this is the first copperhead I've seen. I took a few pictures and released it away from town.
