Does anyone know which colleges offer good herpetology programs?

Unfortunately no colleges offer herpetology as a program however if you take biology courses a very small number of schools have half or full semester courses, I think there is a list of these on anapsid.org.
several schools offer herpetology programs one is in texas i forget the name it might be texas a@m since they have a great vet school one i know for sure of is the University of Florida my sister goes there and she has a friend who is majoring in herpetology
The information I was going on was here http://www.anapsid.org/resources/univ.html I know this page is outdated but there are several more that say the same thing Sorry if I mislead you but even with it possible to major in herpetology now, there are no jobs that require one In fact many zoo curator positions require a degree in either zoology or biology, This is true for every herp related job except for field work (and cleaning out cages at the zoo) and field work is not a steady job that pays poorly. The only career choice in which a degree in herpetology would get you a job is state employment as with most state positions any degree will do fine. My dad is an accountant for the state health department and he has a degree in transportation (he has all the qualifications to drive a bus). The only well paying herpetological career that I can think of off the top of my head is venom extraction from snakes(I believe this requires a toxicology degree) or owning the livestock that make antivenon. You could also try snake removal as a part time job, though it isn't steady it is usually around ninety dollars a snake. In the future hopefully this will change but because of the limited number of jobs the best thing to do would be to major in biology and possibly minor in herpetology. If any of you have actually read this entire post you're are completely nuts and I apologize for any typos I have made.
UF has a really good biology program, so the herp program should be very good there, also.
