This girl is just finally ovulating for me. Who's the daddy? I bred her with a pastel, a spider and a pinstripe. Should we start a pool on what might pop? Evan

I was thinking pied pattern and all but with no white I wasn't sure.......thought it may be a pastel with a really screwed up pattern?.......LOL........man...the low white pieds are pretty when they are babies, but the adult look isn't that sweet.....poor girl.......now she looks like she needs a makeover.......too bad Jenny Jones isn't on the air anymore.......

I think that low to no white pieds look awesome as adults. They look like little bloods!

i agree, i like the low to NO white piers just as well! I would be extremely happy to produce one in my next clutch!

I just wondered.........I figured as much.......I really didn't want him to say due to breeding her he didn't clean her cage.....but you never know in here.........I clean whenever they need it......no they are not spotless........I use aspen and cypress now and just spot clean as needed most of the time........with paper I used alot of it is all........

........just wondered his thoughts......that's all........

I still like 50% white pieds.............and yes I hope I got some this year........they're cookin........

I do not think ive seen a low white pied to that extent. FREAKING AWEOSME! She's a beaut! Good luck on that clutch!

Thanks guys for the nice comments. I really like the low white pieds and since you can buy them cheaper than high whites and they are the same gene and can produce the same goods, I am in. I did mean that I had not cleaned the cage due to the swell. I hate to post like two pics a year and have the cage be dirty. I know Brad keeps his cages spotless and he is laughing at me right now!

As for why I bred those to her, I have had a couple lackluster seasons on pied x____ production so I decided to start off to try to hit two dominant genes het pied both from one clutch to play catch up on those projects since I only have the one adult female pied. So I will be really happy with any non-normal balls from the clutch, BUT I would be VERY happy to have a couple different ones pop out and get me going on two projects with one shot, so to speak.
