Hi I live in the UK so I dont get to put mine out all year round unfortunatly, but we do make the most of the nice days we get.
I simply have a rabbit run, over here you can buy them from petshops and they are not expansive, they are like wooden frames with chicken wire, I peg mine down using tent pegs so no cats in the area can get to them.
If you put them outside dont forget to give them some shade, I put a towl over part of the rabbit pen and move it round as the sun moves round so they are always half in the shade. I also have a large cat litter tray in there that I half fill with warm water, I stick a sloping rock in there so they can climb in and out. About 3-4 of my BDs would have a swim everyday and its a good oppertunity to get them to drink some water, carefull though as they will always go to the loo in the water! Easier to clean but not so nice to drink!
i would not use anything with chicken wire for a couple reasons
1)that wound wire will ctach there claws and can jerk them out chicken wire is a big NO NO in the iguana world for this reason
2)wire with holes to big lets in bugs dragons like bugs one ingested light bug and it can be fatal to your dragon. as well as a whole host of other bugs that may or may not have been sprayed with raid ect
3)not sure where you live but holes to is great place here for baby dragons to become snake food. we have snakes here in Ga that would love to make a meal out of baby dragon if it can and since my deck is up on the scond floow i don't worry to much about it though
the best thign i have found so far is 100gal to 160 gall reptariums. they keep out bugs are light and easly cleaned.
alot of people will say that the fine screenfilters out the UVB i doubt it i would ask those same people if they would liek to sit in one all day with out sun screen on.

Hi,
I live in the UK so there is absolutly no fear for snakes here, or harmful bugs. I know what you are saying about pesticides and stuff like that but I never use any chemicals on my garden and my neibours dont either.
I dont put my babies outside, it tends to freak them out a bit, all the birds and stuff, the biggest worry I have is cats, but there is no way cats can get in thier pen and cats tend to stay away from my garden anyway as I scare them off.
I have never had any problems with thier claws getting caught on the wire, its like the smooth wire, not the twisted wire you can get, I dont see how thier claws could get caught in it. I will try and take a photo of then tomorrow to show you them in there.
And the photo would be great.
