just in my personal opinion and experience - and what the crickets tell me
Flukers is not their favorite. I had four diff dry gutload/food products:
herpnutrition cricket food (sample)
Fluker's (bought when I first began herping)
reptilefood.com (was inexpensive and added it on to my order of crix from them)
and another - I don't recall name (got at a local pet store)
Since I had all of these on hand I decided to do an experiment, I put 2 at a time in with my crix and let THEM tell me!
The results:
***I will be ordering from herpnutrition
***probably won't get reptilefood.com again (but other than that I will, however, continue to get feeders from them b/c they are inexpensive, were the right size, and great service)
***Flukers I'll keep on hand for emergencies or if a fellow herper needs some
The one I forgot the name? Went down the toilet.
I know this is more than you wanted to know but hey - this was real science LOL! But seriously...what I do like about herpnutrition's is that it is moist and has all natural ingredients.
You do know not to rely entirely on gitload food, right? They should be offered fresh fruit and veges regularly. Mine get carrots, carrot tops, apple, dried apricot, potato and whatever else may be on hand. They need the moisture and the nutrients.
here's their link - hope this helps!
