Big Mistake & OT Result

run26neys Jun 03, 2007 09:41 PM

Yeaterday at the reptile show, my wife was telling someone that we have gotten to know, we now have seven snakes. I promptly corrected her by saying we have 10. As this came out, I realized I should have kept my big mouth shut. She handles all of the snakes (except the new spotted pythons that love to bite especially her), so I figured she knew how many we have. At least I did not tell her that I have one paid for not yet shipped, and that I am on lists and hoping to get at least five 07 babies plus what ever else may pop up!

Here is what we got today for her and the kids. I will send $1 to the first person to ID the breed AND the generation of this kitten. BTW - it was not cheap. I was totally blown away by the place we bought it from. They had three cats in labor and they have night time video cameras on them, so they can be watched 24/7 on their TV's. Everything in the place was top notch and done right - the husband teaches animals genetics at a college. When I started to ask some questions he could answer them, and he also said that snake people are the most up to date and knowledgeable about genetics - a nice complete to all of you.

Cool cat! Is that a Bengal Cat? I have no idea of generation, but since there is a whole dollar on the line I will guess 3rd?

well stay out of the "Boa" forum, they have a lot of stuff that pops up out of nowhere and the results of certain breeding's would never have been guessed using the principles that govern Mendelian inheritance.

It's like watching,

" The Wheel Of Fortune " ( feeling knowledgeable )

Then, "Jeopardy" ( 18 th century opera )

Who T. F. thought cramming that kind of stupid [ Bleep } in ones head equates to intelligence? Waste of the "human hardrive" if you ask me, or perhaps I may be psychotically, er um I mean psychologically compensating for my lack of what jeopardy finds a "marker" of intellect.

Aubrey wins. I did check the timestamps too. Aubrey email me your address through KS, or email direct if you still have my email address.

It is a 3rd Gen Savannah. Savannah's do come in four colors and this one will lighten up and be silver. I do not mind the cat, and was happy to find a 3rd generation (12.5% Serval that looks as good as some breeders 2nd generations (25% Serval). The third generation is really the first one that make really good normal pets, as some Gen 2's have behaivoral issues.

The place we got it from was the 'Dave Colling' of exotic cat breeding. It was one impressive place that is in the midst of moving to just an awesome place. They also want to become a rescue center for the small wild cats that people can not take care of. I would guess their new center cost over $400k, and they have $250k in animals.

But seriously, you don't really have to send me a dollar. It was just a fun game to play!
