First off Welcome back, those animals are awesome!!!

I am not so sure you should be here.

"People, Places, and Things" could "trigger" a relapse.

Wait, the good thing is you have come to terms within yourself that you have a " Disease ", but from the looks of the post you just wrote, you are still currently using !

Fake it to you make it.

Well since it's been awhile, where you in the rehab for " RAD " ( Reptilian Acquisition Disorder )?

Just remember this and you will be ok.

Don't " Buy " and " go " to meetings.

Good luck with your recovery.

This is not the best place to find a " sponsor ".

Especially Dave, a few " pictorial " posts and he will have you mumbling the words " Sunglow's " and " BRB " while you are sleeping.

I recommend you stay alone for at least a year, nix the "name" that ex made up. Also, stay away from the "boa" forum as well, that forum, is at times, too " visually stimulating " to the addict portion of your brain.

Good Luck,

welcome back, I'm Frank and I'm a " Reptoholic "

I know, I seem to be somewhat knowledgeable, when it comes to the "lingo" one learns, from being in a step program. Yes, maybe so, but since I started coming here daily, I have not been able to put together any "clean" time.

Diagnosis : Patient ( Frank Roberts ) suffers from " multiple relapse syndrome " notably, during the months most reptiles lay eggs and or give birth. He easily falls of the wagon.

I made the mistake of choosing Dave as my sponsor.

I worked in a pet store when I was a kid ( 11-15 yrs. old ).

This specie of fish managed to jump out of an aquarium thru the cover where the filter is located. The fish was dry and tacky to the touch, we threw it back in the tank and it was fine, like it never happened. The fish seemed to completely recover within a few hours. They can breathe out of water.

Not your tyipcal fish, they are believed to come out of the water and relocate to near by Ponds, Lakes, etc..

A walking, air-breathing fish is pretty amazing!

We have some fish we call Frankenfish because they were genetically engineered (and are patented) with genes introduced from coral to make them extra brightly-colored (although they're freshwater fish). They're also monstrously aggressive and chased all the other fish in our community tank---even those way, way bigger---so we were forced to give them their own fish-thug tank.

I have read that "Frankenfish" name in associstion with agreesive invasive species made illegal in some areas, not certain but pretty sure. Problem being I read so much information it sometimes takes me awhile to figure stuff like that out. Lots stuff to sort threw in my head lol

i had a arrowanna but see what had happened was all my fish ripped it to shreds and snakehead are illegale to own since they can live on land and do "walk" to near by poonds/lake and kill off other fish

figures, I realy liked them, well that was over 20 years ago when I worked in a pet store. When did they make them illegal ?

Well I guess that's one way to make sure they are not released and become an "invasive" species.

it only has been a few years not long at all but yeah i really want one they still sell them on like ebay or odd sites for $1000 or more but BUT if you already own one you can keep it i guess if you had a pair you could give babies away just cant legaly sell them.

OOOHHHH... that BRB male is really neat. I like how his dorsal pattern is darker than the rest of him. I've never seen that before. And your iguana is adorable! I miss my old iguana.

Of course I'm partial to your BRB's and corns, but it sounds like you have put together quite a nice zoo there.
