Gravid female - Horrible discharge.

kennny Jun 04, 2007 03:28 AM

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to breed this year for the first time and after thinking i'd missed the boat i'm 99% sure my female ovulated last tuesday (29th may) so have been waiting for her to begin her shed cycle. I got up this morning and checked on her to discover she had discharged some kind of yellow goo that had a few dark orange flecks in it and the consistance of wall paper paste and smelt pretty bad. she also looks to be starting her shed cycle.

I'm pretty sure this is not a good sign but does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

any suggestions would be gratefully recieved.

Kenny.

Hi ! Well I have had gravid Balls that have had the starting of a egg that the week forming shell broke and they discharged the egg and or a forming egg that went bad from the start and her body rejcted it in the form of a discharge . David of DS Reptile Rescue. P.S. if it is one of the above you may wont to take her to your Vet . To see if she needs to be cleaned out.
