Unidentified Mauritius Gecko ??? PIC

africansnakes Jun 04, 2007 12:32 PM

Hi has anyone got a clue what this is ? I got it with a box of plants from Mauritius. Its very long and slender built. Has a bright orange tail (at the bottom) and is brownish ontop with a few yellowish spotts and a more yellow then brown tail (on top). It seems to be a gravid female with 2 eggs in her.

Thanks

I've searched... I'm stumped. But hey, kudos for customs doing a good job making sure the package was properly checked out, lol, no wonder we have no many invasive species here. (*Eyeroll*!!!) (That and the not so great owners who let their critters go outside. Uhg.)
Let me know what you find out, i'm intrigued!
