Horrible Discharge - PHOTO INCLUDED

kennny Jun 04, 2007 02:15 PM

Hi, further to my post earlier today I have now included a photo.

I found this discharge in with my female who ovulated last tuesday (29th may) it smelt really bad, I've never seen anything like it.

I was wondering if anyone had experienced a similar thing and will this effect her pregnancy?

any comments would be greatfully recieved.

Kenny

I had a few colubrids come down with a bacterial infection one year and they had similar stuff come out of them. It cleared up quite quickly with anti biotics, don't know if it will affect anything having to do with producing fertile eggs..... and of course that mess may not be the same thing as I saw here. Something to consider though.... Tom Stevens

Have you ever cut open a freshly laid "slug"? The inner contents look very similar in color and consistency to that. However it's smooth like pudding with no chunks (like your picture). I'd take her to the vet to make sure there aren't any complications. You did say in a previous post that you think she's gravid right?
