One of my breder mice had 10 babies this morning and i noticed 3 dead babiesin the opposite corne of the cage than the live ones. i was just wodring what caused her to have a couple dead babies? and is there anyhing i can do to prevent ths in the future? thanks

Sometimes you get that... Could have been just about anything. A few of my rat litters I've gotten 1 or 2 dead pups from....They were big pups though and I suspect they had a hard time passing through the birth canal.. and just didn't make it. Birth is a stressful thing for both mother's and pups.
