Here are some updated pics of my grayband Sofie. I got her from John Schmitt back in March. Let me know what you guys think!

She's got a cool checkered pattern on her side that I love.

She's great. Looks alot like mine except for the checkers and head. Take a look.

Yeah the coloration is very similar...beautiful snake you got there!

Very nice snakes. Similar to this pair I got in a round about way from Mike Russo.

Those are all really pretty. I love the color on GBs, but I've shyed away from owning them because of the horror stories I've heard about getting the hatchlings to start feeding.
Jim that was a good move buying from John at Suncoast. He's awesome to do business with, and definately one of the good guys.

Thanks Ken. You have some great Thayri. I relly like the pair you have in the classifieds. If I could sneak them past my fiance I'd snatch them up.

Thanks a lot. I hated to do it, but you can't keep them all.

Those two are beautiful! I really dig the wide orange and light ground color. Maybe after I'm done getting my feet wet with my hondo projects I'll try some of these. I only bought my GBK as a pet rather than a breeder. I've been into them since I saw some pics in a book when I was, like, 13 and finally got one last year (I'm 31).

Actually all the pics are of the same grayband. I would recommend getting a grayband from John at Suncoast anytime. John only offers snakes that are established feeders. She is a great snake and is a superb feeder. She took a f/t the first time I offered and all I need to do is drop a mouse in her feeding container with her and she will eat in about 1 minute.

My thayeri is the same way. Funny story, when I feed my snakes I put them in their feeding containers and drop in the f/t pinky. Well, the last time I fed my thayeri, I dropped in the f/t pinky and she caught it by the head as it fell!!!

I love it when they do things like that. I've got an adult ball python that used to pluck live rats from the air when I dropped them in. And my carpet python...he hits his pinky rats so hard that he knocks them from the hemostats and smacks the side of the cage sometimes.
The other day one of my new hondos from Tom Stevens came flying out of the 1 inch gap when I slid her box out, grabbed the pinky from my stats and popped back inside before I even had a chance to react. Cool stuff!

Those are some sweet Alterna's...

I really like their broad red-orange banding on them...very nice!

These are some updated photos of my 2005 Juno Road animals from Ric B. The female is first followed by the male.

Later,
Jim.

Hey Jim,

that female is very interesting looking, i like the "muted" coloration in the bands, if you have a full body shot i would like to see it.
