Any chance of getting a better picture? I would not be surprised if something weird came from that. Nobody knows as I don't know what on Earth solid black eyes might mean but very interesting...

I have seen two other boas (non morph) that had solid black eyes. Neat, but I haven't seen it lead to anything. Though no reason it shouldn't there are mutations in other animals that ONLY affect the eye color.
Is the full eye black, the iris? I have seen some boas that had bad eye-sight and their pupils were permanently dialated.

I also think it could be dilated pupils. I have a male with solid black eyes when it's dark, but as soon as you shine the light directly on them the iris shows through. Here's a couple of pics to give you an example:


Shine a flashlight directly into the eye and if it stays solid black you could have something. Best of luck proving it out.

after looking at him in ver bright light his eyes are very very dark gray and then when the pupil dialates the whole eye imediately turns black.
