reptileman03 Aug 16, 2003 01:48 PM

I just had 2 babies hatch today...and my question is about 1 of them....
the first one is really yellowish orange in color for the bands...
but the second one is hardly yellow at all its a dirty white..for the bands!! WHAT DOES THIS MEAN is it still normal?? I bred a female normal with a albino...and was only expecting hets????
anyone have any ideas
let me know thanks!!

sounds like everything is fine. they are hets. the white one will most likely turn out normal, babies are often born with odd colors and develope normally. if the white one stays white, then your pretty lucky.

That's pretty common. It may grown up to be a dull tan leopard normal, or get more yellow. Chances are it will not be a snow, put it could be a pastel. If it says white as an adult it would be a snow, but that would be highly unlikely.
