Currently all I own is ball pythons. I would like to have something that gets a little bigger. Burms and retics are too big and boas don't really do it for me. My question is, how much bigger do angolans get? Thanks for any input.

I believe most angolans are going to end up between 6 and 8 feet. From what you are saying, sounds like they might be a good match for you, although they are still a bit on the expensive side (3.5K-4.5K a pair). But, you might be able to get a good deal on a single male.

What about a Blood Python? They only get around 4'-6', but they have the girth and large python feel of a decent sized burm. Plus they only cost $100-$200 compared to a couple grand for an Angolan.

I totally agree. Go for a Blood. I have balls and a Sumatran Red Blood. Love em! For fun look up Super Balls- Blood/Ball hybrids.

Oh and $100-$10,000+ depending what cool morph you want.
