Looks like an albino....Congrats!!
I got home today and the wife said when she checked on the snakes mom had apparently smashed the babies. ALL FREAKING HYPOS!! 6 dead, 6 slugs, and 2 live hypos.
I'm very happy with the 2. Mom just wasn't too careful.

the dead ones

Mom trying to pass a ROCK!!. I cut this open when I got home and there was a 6 inch baby that was underdeveloped.

Sorry to hear you lost 6 babies but congratulations on the two live. Hypo sonorans are fantastic. I cannot wait to put mine to one of my Type II anerythristic sonorans next year.
As far as the dead babies go, is it not a possibilty that they were still born? It seems strange that 6 would die as a result of the female. Alternatively, could the cage have been too small for a gravid female about to give birth?
Make sure you post pictures of the babies once they have sloughed. That was the father?

Dr. Booth, I was rethinking everything on the way home today the first thing that came to mind was the size of the enclosure (41QT Sterilite). But then I thought "no way, she's only 4 feet long", but now that I think about it, that may have been my problem all along. I'm just glad the 2 are good to go. Dad was actually a Hypo Nic. All the babies were hypo which is very cool. I have an 05' male hypo sonoran for next season to put her to.
She is such a docile snake even after birth. She just wanted some love coming out of the cage and the kiddo and I. I think she might have a little something going! She impressed me for sure though.
