Bought this from KMART today in the garden center...Seems like what a few of you talked about but the sensor on this one is rounded and not pointed!

sensor I wasn't sure if you said to put it just above the rock or actually touching the rock....

that should work fine, and i just duct tape my sensor down on the basking are two where it is about 1/2 inch off or so.
thats what works for me.
