BLOODY SALMONS- A SECOND GENERATION

salmonboa.com Jun 05, 2007 09:37 AM

This morning we arrived to a litter of Bloody Salmons and Blood boas. Whats great about this litter is that its truely a second generation of animals for this project. The mother is a Blood boa that was produced here in 2004'. The father is a Bloody Salmon who was born here in 2005'. Together, they had a near perfect litter consisting of 9 Bloody Salmons, 1 Blood boa, and 1 slug.

Here is a picture of mom and dad the day after her ovulation:

Here are some photos of this mornings litter:

Congratulations to the boa community for so many incredible boas produced already this season and thanks for looking!

Regards,
Rich and John

Congrats Rich and John. Now my eyes may not be seeing things correctly but it looks to me like you have 3 or 4 Bloods, while one is dark there are 2 or 3 lighter ones that do not look like they are also Salmon. Again, could be wrong there. I've seen a lot of light orange-red babies that were Bloods and not Bloody Salmons.
