I believe they extract the toxin somehow and then smoke it, the toad licking may be urban legend, but the toxin is definately a hulucinogen (sp?)

mouth if you hit the wrong endlol Hopefully you weren't that wasted to catch a burn mark from it and you felt the heat but some you never know... if you fail to plan you plan to fail-I like that saying but doesn't apply to this however When I use to, it was always pipe worthy if you know what, mean falling under the category of two initials-the letter aftr J and the one after A

you must carry the cross and die daily I believe
Bob

FRoberts Jun 05, 2007 02:06 PM

first to carry the cross, is a figurative statement, like upon yourself or in one's heart. My car broke down several years ago and I had to walk 7 miles to and from work ( 14 miles daily for 3 months, yes it sucked )I met this man on the way home one day. He was walking from NJ to California carrying a 25 foot long cross ( bottom of cross on wheels ) on his shoulder. We spoke of god and salvation the entire time. I turned to leave and then stopped and watched him till he was out of sight.

Very dedicated.

To think I was whining about the 14 miles.

Not after that day I wasn't.

nobody asked you where you are goin
nobody knows where you're from

Here is a man asking the question
is this really the end of the world
seagull you must of known for a long time
the shape of things to come

Now you fly through the sky
never asking why
and you fly, all around
till somebody shoots you down

Dadadada da da da down mm mm mm mm mm mm

Seagull you fly across the horizon
into the misty morning sun
nobody asked you where you are going
nobody knows where you're from

Now you fly through the sky
never asking why
and you fly all around
till somebody shoots you down

mm mm yeah

Seagull you fly, seagull you fly away
and you'll fly away, today
and you'll fly away, tomorrow
and you'll fly away, leave me to my sorrow

different group all together...

clears throat....

So I'm back, to the velvet underground
Back to the floor, that I love
To a room with some lace and pAper flowers
Back to the gypsy that I was
To the gypsy... that I was
And it all comes down to you
Well, you know that it does
Well, lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice
Ah, and it lights up the night
And you see your gypsy
You see your gypsy
To the gypsy that remains faces freedom with a little fear
I have no fear, I have only love
And if I was a child
And the child was enough
Enough for me to love
Enough to love
She is dancing away from me now
She was just a wish
She was just a wish
And a memory is all that is left for you now
You see your gypsy
You see your gypsy
Lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice
And it all comes down to you
And it all comes down to you
Lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice
And it all comes down to you
I still see your bright eyes, bright eyes
And it all comes down to you
I still see your bright eyes, bright eyes
And it all comes down to you
I still see your bright eyes, bright eyes
(She was just a wish)
(She was just a wish)
And it all comes down to you
Lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice
And it all comes down to you

slots for sponsors for this forum instead of the usual 4. Last year did we have 4 and then after baby season drop back down to 3 or is Bryan keeping his up there?
Bob

FRoberts Jun 05, 2007 04:38 PM

I have been thinking of sponsoring this forum for awhile now, and breeding and selling rainbows was not my reasoning. This forum is awesome ( it is directly related to the people that post here in my opinion ).

I like the atmosphere!!!

who needs those other forums, this "room" has quite a few people with such varying degrees of knowledge / experience, I bet most reptile / amphibian related questions could be answered by someone who regularly posts here!!!

Do you not agree?

I've never seen such a pretty looking frog in my entire life.

miloradovich Jun 05, 2007 01:07 PM

It amazes me that new unkown things like that can be found. I saw that same article on MSNBC and their slide show shows other new species that were found including a snake that eats snails by grabbing them and sucking them from their shells and another frog where the males carry the tadpoles on their backs. Pretty cool stuff.
