fussy box

Well, when I first had my baby three-toed, he/she would eat one worm per day. Now the critter eats them once every 6 or 8 days, preferring wax worms. Must have caught this contagious "fussyness" from painted, Peter, who will not eat minnows when they have been dead for a while, when I hear that most "aquatic" turtles will gladly eat fish that is not fresh.

And he/she won't even eat strawberries! T. Herman would only eat mealworms, strawberries, and an occasional cricket. I figured he was the fussiest of the fussy, so this captive-born would certainly eat strawberries.

Months ago he would eat bits of tomato; he doesn't eat those anymore either. I've tried shredded carrot and shredded apple a few times without success.

Oh, well....
