F2 Spilotes Pics

vegasbilly Jun 06, 2007 06:00 PM

Hey All,

Feeding time so I thought I'd snap a few pics. These are F2 animals produced by me and are about 8'-9' long. They are actually more yellow than the pics represent. They had just finished 3 adult mice each and were looking for more! "Gaping" is merely the last bit of swallowing. These are very tame animals, with the exception of the usual feeding frenzy response to ANY subsequent movement.

If this ugly snake is a male, bag it and ship it to me, you don't need it.
Really nice Bill!
Could you take an all body shot for me when you get time?
Thank's and take care!
Justin

Sweet Bill! Question about the feedings though - you state they are 8'-9' but you only fed them 3 mice each. Is this the norm? My two imported adults are in the 7'-8' range and will easily take 3 small rats every 7-10 days and "process" them within about 5 days. Just curious as to what yours are eating on a regular basis.

Beautiful beasts for sure!

I usually feed 2 med. rats every 10 days or so but a buddy gave me about 50 frozen adult mice so I just needed to use them up! Rats are more economical. I don't "power feed" anything and I find this keeps them growing at a nice pace. My original pair were still shedding at a regular rate when they were app. 11'and 12 years old!
