Well here is my Hybrid project from this year. More pictures to come as they hatch. I also have two sets of twins.

2 sets of twins. They have a similar pattern to the ball python father.
Nice animals...I am working on the same hybrid next year, what type of carpet did you use? Did the breeding require more than one male and did you need to do any manipulation (such as swapping females)?
If you used a jungle carpet I really think these will be hot looking adults, they are already showing better color than most baby moriela and as they age their color should intensify nicely.
secondly, I think the potential taxonomic implications are mind blowing...Moriela X Python, Python X Aspidites, Moriela X Liasis, so Liasis X Python likely...whoa what next Ringed Pythons, Whitelips, Apodura? Kick ass!
Those are some interesting babies ... big congrats ... what type of carpet did you use ? Be sure to post updated photos as they grow !!
cheers, John

I can see both influences, more so the carpet, but the ball genes are noticeable, should be interesting as they grow, apparently ball pythons can be bred to just about any python, I am sure a male ball could even fertilize a reticulatus. I have seen burms, carpets, bloods, and womas. The womaball being my favorite look wise. I have believed all pythons could be hybridized, all boas, and all colubrids as well. They are all very closely related, if someone went beyond Family status and was successful, NOW THAT WOULD BE TOO INTERESTING. Hope one of you hybrid guys/gals tries it. As far as it goes against systematic's a " colubridae / Pythonidae " may be achievable. A recent ball/burm hybrid was just insane.

I will be keeping a few. And selling a few. Still waiting for them to shed and feed, but they are now all out of the egg.

A few have shed and I am starting on getting them to feed. Thanks for looking Todd

Incredible....speechless.
They have eaten a few meals. They have not shed yet. SO they are still a little shiny
Pair

Female.

Male.

in breeding these do you think it matters if the ball python is a male or a female
