This is what I use to candle snake eggs.It's a mini-mag flashlight with a fiber optic attachment that's meant for looking at the bore of firearms.You can also get a little upgrade kit to make it an l.e.d. light.Just thought I'd share. Jeff

WELL ARENT YOU HIGH TECH!! J/K THATS PRETTY COOL.... I JUST SET MINE IN THE INCUBATOR AND IF THEY SHRIVEL UP AND TURN BROWN THEY'RE DEAD. I NEVER WOULD HAVE PICTURED THE DO-HICKEY LOOKING LIKE THAT!

I use just a normal AA Mag Light with the LED kit on it. The LED's are so much brighter then the regular lights that come with those. I can almost see a snake smiling back at me when I candel eggs now
