I do use them as a large part of my adults diets. I basically use them just about the same as I use crickets. I give the worms every other meat feeding just a few maybe 5-8 each, and crickets the other days maybe around 8-12 each along with a large salad every day. These are my adults that get these not my juvi's. My juvi's get a very cricket heavy diet and supers are used once a week for treats not very often. I do know some people who use supers only for the protein source of their adults diets. Meaning most of the time they only eat pellets and salads and every three days they give 3-5 worms for protein, again these are adults. I personally believe babies and juvi's need their crickets for their massive growth stages and crickets are easy to gutload and add needed nutrients to the youngsters.

To my knowledge they should not be used as a primary food source, rather an occasional treat.

i use superworms as my dragons primary protien.. he also gets a salad and pellets everyday but gets 5-7 supers every three days and maybe a few crickets if i have any adult crix around.. this is for my adult beardies. for my babies they are given a primary cricket diet and greens everyday. i personally don't like feeding juvies supers either.. it depends on how big the supers or beardie is.. i just started feeding spike supers maybe six months ago.. and he is two years old. they are also higher in fat than crix so that is why he doesn't get fed bugs as often as i would if he were fed crix.
