Behavior Question

fruitionx Aug 16, 2003 05:10 PM

I got the "A OK" from my vet that i can introduce my new female to Rico. So today i tested the two out. I am going to wait another day to truely move them in together, but before i do that i was wodnering about a behavior rico kept doing. Each time the female came by him he would turn on his side, but not flip or anything, kinda like blocking her from going right across him. The two seemed ok other than that, she was exploring and wlakign over him and he was doing that 'move' and licking her tail as she passed.
Let me know!
Thanks!

it's probably normal. when it came to reintroducing my female into the group, for the first day or 2 there was some awkwardness, maybe some light nipping or nudging, but everything is back tonormal. give them time, if you notice them actually trying to harm one another, separate them. theys hould be fine.
