Mike,

I used to upload them to kingsnake.com. An easier way is to host them elsewhere, right click the picture in your browser, click "Properties", highlight the URL address.

Next, when making a post, type in this ---

Image

Basically, you are making an "img" sandwhich.

Good luck...

I wouldnt say that getting your stuff into some other webhosting is easier, you have to find some, register for it, and for folks who are un-tech savvy they might end up trying to make a picture sammich out of the wrong file.

Here on the forum, go to the Photos tab above
Click UPLOAD PHOTOS
Fill out the little form and direct it to the picture on your computer.
When you're done click [UPLOAD]

Now when you go to post your pictures will be under the text available for you to stick in the post if you want.

I'm not claiming this is TONS easier, and without knowing your level of computer/internet knowledge it's hard for me to say whats right for you, but this is another option for you if you. An issue you may run into is if your pictures are too big for KS.com to handle, if thats the case, you have a few options there but we'll burn that bridge if we get to it.

If you do try the Web hosting option, test out your results on this forum (link below)before you come here to put up what you actually intend to share...

Check out this handy link to Kingsnake.com’s “Tools and Toys” page that explains everything for adding HTML syntax. It’s the easiest way to add a picture that is already online somewhere, meaning you have uploaded to Photobucket, the Kingsnake photo gallery, or something like that.
It would be a good idea if it was a lot easier to find, but you can do it by clicking on “Help” and then “Frequently Asked Questions” and then “Tools and Toys”.

Here’s an image example of the syntax, how you add the code before and after the URL address of the image, just like ECC showed you. It shows how the two photos below were added here. (actually, it’s three images including the first .JPEG image of the examples!)
