A friend sent me some photos of a visitor she and her dog had while eating breakfast. She thought it was a racer but it sure looks like an indigo to me! What do the experts think?

A friend sent me some photos of a visitor she and her dog had while eating breakfast. She thought it was a racer but it sure looks like an indigo to me! What do the experts think?

Doesn't look like an Indigo to me. I grew up in Missouri, and it sure looks like a Black Rat Snake...
I could be wrong, but that's my guess...

It's a black rat like the folks below said. You can still see a little white pattern on the body and it appears to have a white chin. Why can't I have black rats crawling on my window sill! That's it, I'm moving. Don
That was my feeling as well...She's so lucky! Why can't I have snakes trying to get into my house? Of course I did almost step on a horned rattlesnake that didn't rattle. That was pretty exciting.
