It's getting to be an active season

Steve_5201 Jun 07, 2007 05:22 PM

I've already had three females lay eggs. Two of the females are definately gravid again and the other I suspect to be gravid. The only other mature female that I have is digging a nest as I type this. The first clutch of eggs should be hatching within the next two or three weeks. I hope everyone else is having a good season.

I think I'm having a good "first" season. The first clutch was broken up when a cage mate dug in for the night. I got five good eggs out of the second nest. I moved the group to a temperary cage and one started laying one at a time on top of the ground. The first two of them were eaten and the the third one is incubating. The two females are heavy again and have been mating- so just a matter of time.
