My first thought was the person who took the pic did not attend the Dave Colling school of taking snake pictures.......

I have a great camera (could be the same one Dave has), but I seem to get only a few really good pics!

ok, all the pictures I have posted where taken by other people, I CAN NOT take a decent pic to save my life no worries.

heres some friends or others took of my collection:

here is one I took of my riopa laying eggs a few years back (2001'ish, I no longer keep fire skinks... BTW they are very interesting and easy to breed when you have a small group of the appropriate sex)

Frank, Please don't buy a camera. Judging by some of your former posts, I am afraid I would see photos of a brown water snake in your porcelain vivarium.

35 seconds to figure out what you meant!!! lol....

I can't recommend enough to get a nice DSLR, I'm NO camera buff, nor am I a photographer. Couldn't even begin to run my camera in manual mode and look at my pics!!!

Point was I really have no idea how to operate a camera other than point and shoot. F-stop, aperture and shutter speed are merely words. My camera does all the work, all I do ois provide the right subject and lighting and let the camera do the real work.
