is the day (i think). She has been in her nesting box for over 4 hours and now she is going in and out like crazy. i think she is about to lay.

It seems they usually bury themselves on the floor of the nestbox for many hours the day before they lay. If she is going in and out she is probably not quite ready. Don't let it make you nuts......... hope she settles down for ya soon

My corn was in and out all night before she laid. it was like watching a tennis game She was roaming back and fourth untill about 1 a.m. and when I woke up she was 1/2 way trhough laying. You will be surprised by what snakes will do. Another one of my snakes didn't leave her nest box for 3 weeks before she laid.

yea shes in it right now and is digging around in it. Today would be the 10th day since her shed. Along with that i had another pair hook up about 2 hours ago!! For me this is crazy because ive been raising snakes for 4 years and never once been this lucky.

you may want to take out the water bowl just in case

No more than 20 more mins till she lays!! the eggs are right up against her vent and are moving down slowly!! This is exciting im going to snap a few pics and let her be

first egg is out!
